Dr. Shelbie Sutherland

Shelbie is a Behavioural Science Fellow at the Impact Innovation Unit within the Privy Council Office. She uses her understanding of human behaviour to provide actionable insights designed to improve policies and programs for Canadians. Shelbie draws on her experience as a senior strategist and behavioural science consultant, where she worked closely with leaders in governments and other organizations around the world to identify evidence of barriers that prevent people from achieving their goals. Using an understanding of these barriers, she collaborates with partners to design solutions that support people’s decision‑making and deliver positive social impact.
