Saskia Jarvis

Saskia Jarvis is the Manager of People and Talent at the Impact and Innovation Unit. In this role, she leads the Impact Canada Fellowship Program, the IIU’s flagship recruitment program for attracting leading talent to work on key government priorities. Saskia has extensive experience working on policy, corporate, leadership development, and human resources. Over her tenure, she supported the Cabinet Committee on the Federal Response to COVID-19, led the secretariat for the Deputy Minister Task Force on Public Sector Innovation, developed and managed the GC Entrepreneurs program (a federal leadership development program), and oversaw the advancement of key policy and corporate files underpinning the IIU’s authorities and operations.

Previously, Saskia worked at the Public Health Agency of Canada where she focused on health promotion, chronic disease prevention and concussion guidelines.

Saskia graduated with a BA in Sociology and Masters in Sociology from Carleton University.
