Transport Canada strives to ensure the safety of those who work in Canada’s transportation network and those that use it. To support this goal, an Impact Canada Fellow is working to implement behaviourally-informed interventions to increase safety in several areas, such as encouraging Canadians to engage in safe boating practices, and giving transportation workers the tools to maximize their well-being. By using principles of behavioural insights to design and test these interventions, Transport Canada is working to ensure that all Canadians are safe, no matter how they move.
